Larry Douglas (Doug) Dickey

Larry Douglas (Doug) Dickey of Lawrenceburg was born August 12, 1950 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Charles Edward Dickey and Fredda Mae Rowden Dickey Hurst. Mr. Dickey died on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 10 Months, 5 Days. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing.

He is survived by three sons, Michael Dickey of Ethridge, TN, Chris Dickey of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Patrick Dickey of Waynesboro, TN, five grandchildren, Kierra Dickey, Kade Dickey, Kasey Dickey, Autumn Dickey, and Ashlyn Dickey, a brother, Wade Dickey of Brdstown, KY, and two sisters, Cathy Ray of Savannah, TN and Cynthia Daniels of Lawrenceburg, TN. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dickey was preceded in death by a brother, Perry Dickey and a sister, Brenda Stooksberry.

Services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
