Larry Duncan, Sr. was born on August 30, 1947 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Harry Duncan, Sr. and Marie Maxine Shea Duncan.

On June 23, 2001, he was united in marriage to Stephanie Thornton, who survives.

Mr. Duncan honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a tire builder for Goodyear. Larry enjoyed spending time at Mollie Monday's and became close friends with their staff. He was a member of Shiloh Golf Course. Larry was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with his family.

Larry Duncan, Sr. departed this life on Friday, March 20, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 78 years, 6 months, and 20 days.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Duncan; sons, Larry Shea Duncan, Jr. and Todd Duncan (Liza); daughters, Abbey Duncan, Ashley McEwen, and Brittany McEwen; sister, Ann Dixon (Frank); brother, Tommy Duncan (Becky); and grandchildren, Olivia Duncan, Harley Duncan, Alex Duncan, Peyton Duncan, Carson Jones, Charlea Smith, and Chaiden Davis.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Duncan and sister, Janice Plunk.
