LARRY HOWELL
Luray, TN: Lawrence Walkup Howell age 59 passed away March 27, 2019 at his home.
He was born September 22, 1959 in Jackson, TN the son of the late William Eugene Howell and Jane Lappin Walkup Howell. He went to school in Madison County and graduated from North Side High School in 1977. He married Patricia Kay Morris of Jackson, August 1986. They made their home in Henderson in the Glendale area of Chester County. He went to work with Southwest Electric in Jackson and worked for fourteen years. He became disabled from an accident at work in 1992. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, building homes and anything that had to do with John Deere. He was a general all around Handyman.
Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, Patricia Kay Morris Howell of Luray; a son, Clint Maness (Stephanie) of Henderson and one daughter, Mandi Garner of Henderson; five grandchildren, Tyler McCalmon, Gabrielle Maness, Lukas Garner, Eli Garner and Haylee Garner and a great grandchild, Lane McCalmon; four brothers, Frank Howell, Bob Howell, Joe Howell and Bill Howell.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Phillip Howell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Madison County.
The family will receive friends at East Main 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday and beginning at 1:00 PM on Sunday until service time.
