ROBERT LARRY JONES. SR.
Enville, TN: Robert Larry Jones, Sr. age 75 passed away November 10, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born November 9, 1941 in Madison County and reared in Deanburg and different areas of Chester County, the son of the late Robert Earl and Ester Mae Baxter Jones. He attended school in Chester County and farmed as a young man and public work since 1959. He worked for Century Electric Magnetek, which is now Leroy Somer, retiring in 2001 due to medical reasons. He enjoyed church singings.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Brasher Jones of Enville; two sons, Robert Larry Jones, Jr. (Diane) of Enville and Brandon Jones of Henderson; one sister, Margie Marie Baker of Bolivar and one brother, Marvin Lee Jones of Henderson and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Thomas Earl Jones and a sister Elaine Rose.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Larry Holley officiating.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday.
