Larry Kennedy of Middleton, passed away Wednesday morning, April 10, 2024, at his home. He was 77 years old.
A native of Booneville, MS, his parents were the late Leslie Franklin and Elanora Spencer Kennedy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Dale Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy retired in 2008 from USF Holland where he was on OTR Truck Driver. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and Local 667. In his leisure time, he like to play golf and spend time with family and friends.
He is survived by Rita Kennedy, his wife of 26 years, whom he married on August 8, 1997; sons, Justin Kennedy (Angel) of Grand Valley Lakes and Brett Kennedy (Amy) of Texas; daughter, Ami Darling (Eddie) of Middleton; sisters, Linda Yopp and Sheila Patterson, both of Middleton; brothers, Ron Kennedy (Judy) of Memphis and Rick Kennedy (Pam) of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Sam, Halle Kate, Bailey, Karyon, Christian (Maria) and Jack Kennedy and Brooke Darling; and several nieces and nephews.
