Larry Joe was born in Savannah, Tennessee on December 2, 1949, the son of the late Morris Edward and Mary Bernice Prince Murphy. He was a LPN for Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Larry Joe is survived by his sisters, Marsetta Jerrolds and Melinda Richardson both of Savannah, Tennessee, and Bernetta Jean Clay of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Michael Ray Murphy of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 nieces and 4 nephews.
