Larry Wade Nixon was born June 23, 1943 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Homer Clement and Rose Ann Bryant Nixon.
Mr. Nixon worked at Brown Shoe Company. He was an avid fisherman, gardener, and enjoyed watching different sporting events. He went to Selmer High School and played football in school.
Mr. Nixon departed this life on January 20, 2017 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 6 Months, 28 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Denise Nixon Bennett and husband Greg of Michie, TN; two sons, Wade Nixon of Michie, TN, Terry Nixon and wife Angie of Ramer, TN; eight grandchildren, Madalyn, Ryan, and Abby Nixon, Bailey, Brooke, and Bethany Bennett, Brittney Scott, Andrew Gann; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathaleen Faye Smith of Lawton, TN, Lula Ann Beyer and husband Toby of Hornsby, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Nixon was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Terry Nixon;
a daughter, Tina Elizabeth Nixon Gann; two sisters, Lessie Lou Kiser and Willie Lee Goodrum; and two brothers, Julius Herbert Nixon and Rubel Nixon.
