Larry Travis Preslar was born March 9, 1950 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Noah Franklin and Annie Rhea Cox Preslar.
He was united in marriage to Pamela Gail Wehunt on March 4, 1999. He was a retired farmer and had worked at Connector Castings in the past. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. Larry, a Christian, loved hunting, fishing, gradening, and most of all spending time with his wife and grandchildren.
Mr. Preslar departed this life on February 4, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 10 Months, 26 Days.
He is survived by his wife Pam Preslar of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Gina Michelle Preslar of Selmer, TN; a son, Jeremy Newton Preslar of Selmer, TN; a step daughter, Geneva Gayle Roberts of Bolivar, TN; daughter-in-law, Jennie Marie Roberts of Bolivar, TN; two sisters, Mary Linda Meeks and Norma Faye Preslar both of Bethel Springs, TN; seven grandchildren: Mia Preslar, Jaden Preslar, Trevor Boleyn, Maddelyn Boleyn, Alyssa Bolyard, Kadea Bolyard and Austin Bolyard; cousin he loved as a brother, Tommy Lee Cox of Selmer, TN; and a sister-in-law, Carol Vest and husband Greg of Tupelo, MS; several nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Preslar was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandy Dawn Preslar; a sister, Vickie Ann Preslar White; and a brother, Gene Franklin Preslar.
