Larry Roberts

Larry Roberts was born March 11, 1946 in Selmer, Tennessee the son of the late Hollin and Beatrice Jackson Roberts.He was united in marriage to Naomi Kirk on August 6, 1965.Mr. Roberts was the owner of Movie World in Selmer and Henderson, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Selmer. He loved spending time with his friends and family, and enjoyed playing dominos and checkers in his free time. Mr. Roberts departed this life on March 19, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 8 Days. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Naomi (Kirk) Roberts of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Seandee Roberts of Selmer, TN; a son, Larry (Nubbin) Roberts, Jr. and wife Kim of Henderson, TN; four grandchildren: Michael Bailey, Justin Bailey, Logan Moore, Morgan Moore; two sisters, Mary Ruth Scott and husband Harry of Henderson, TN and Rachel Mahoney of Greeley, CO; two brothers, Wayne Roberts of Selmer, TN and Bobby Roberts and wife Kay of Bolivar, TN; and many extended family and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sue Roberts, and a brother-in-law, Ed Mahoney.
