LARRY STEPHEN KING

Pinson, TN: Larry Stephen King, age 56, passed away June 6, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Jackson, TN, April 1, 1970, son of Larry Roger and Marilyn Jeane King. He grew up in Pinson and graduated from South Side High School in 1988. Stephen worked with his dad at KC Precision Tool and Die for 18 years. His last job was working at Precision Coil for 10 years in Brownsville.

Stephen graduated from Jackson State Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Summa Cum Laude.

He met the love of his life, Jeannie Britton, and they married on July 1, 2006.

Stephen and Jeannie’s marriage was a love story against all odds.

He loved being outdoors. Enjoying fishing and deer hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie King; parents, Larry and Marilyn Jeane King; a brother, Jeromy King (Sally) of Fallon, NV; sister, Angela King Benfield (Ben) of Lexington, TN; stepdaughter, Amanda Jo Sullivan (Chad) of Centerville; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; nine nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Ginger Lee Kelley.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday July 12, 2026, at Bear Creek Cemetery with Ben Benfield officiating.
