Larry Joe Wilkerson

Larry Joe Wilkerson was born on March 9, 1962, the son of the late Curtis Lee and Betty Ann Hurley Wilkerson. On April 19, 2003, he married Beverly I. Smith, who survives. Larry departed this life on April 23, 2017, at the age of 55 years, 1 month, and 14 days.

Larry lived in Hardin County, Tennessee all of his life. He enjoyed logging, picking up cans, riding four-wheelers, and hunting. Larry visited his brother every single day.

Along with his wife, Larry is survived by his son, Brett Bunch of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Mary Beth Wilkerson of Savannah, Tennessee, JoAnn Nix of Corinth, Mississippi, and Victoria Briley and husband Joseph of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Billy Joe WIlkerson of Savannah, Tennessee and Curtis (Bo) Wilkerson of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters, Betty Jo Young, Bonnie Murphy and husband Charlie, and Sarah White, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tyler Nix, Nikki Anderson, and Gabbi Madis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sisters, Janey Young and Shirley Ann Wilkerson.
