Mrs. Laura Jean Frazier Hinton departed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 9 Months, 29 Days. She was born January 20, 1929 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Hugh Frazier and Josie Perry Frazier.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Laura Jean was preceded in death by, sons, L.B. and Steve Hinton; daughter, Sandra Hinton; brothers, C.R. and Granville Frazier; sister, Mildred Vandiver.
Mrs. Laura Jean was a homemaker and a member of the Green River Tabernacle Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee.
She is survived by sons, Christopher (Chris) Hinton and Thomas Hinton both of Cypress Inn, TN, Phillip Hinton of Florence, AL and Terry Hinton and Johnny Hinton both of Cloverdale, Al; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Frazier of Iron City, TN and Anthony Frazier and Elbert Frazier both of Savannah, TN; sisters, Christine Victory of Lawrenceburg, TN, Mary Helen Franks of Olive Hill, TN an Ellen Kilburn of Crump, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Larry Janes officiating. Burial will follow in Lutts Cemetery, Lutts, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, November 21, 2014 from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Franks, Glen Frazier, David Henson, Danny Kilburn, John Montgomery, Scotty Wesson and Keith Vandiver.
