Laura Nell Walker of Selmer, TN departed this life on August 31, 2019 in her home at the age of 81 Years, 7 Months, 26 Days. She was born January 5, 1938 in Little Rock, AR the daughter of the late Lonnie and Naomi Smith Tarvin. She was united in marriage to George Thomas Walker in March of 1967.
Mrs. Walker was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren. Her great grandchildren were a special blessing and she loved them all very much.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George Thomas Walker of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Laura Perkins of Selmer, TN; 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren; 3 sisters along with a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by a son, James Franklin Deaton. She was also preceded by 5 siblings.
