Lavearn Cunningham

Lavearn Cunningham departed this life on June 3, 2016 in Corinth, MS at the age of 79 Years, 7 Months, 16 Days. She was born October 18, 1936 in Corinth, MS the daughter of the late Preston Hutcheson and Annie Mae Hancock Hutcheson.
She was united in marriage to James Cube Cunningham on November 7, 1958. Mr. Cunningham preceded her in death on February 19, 1994.

Mrs. Cunningham was a member of South Shiloh Full Gospel Church. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by two sons, J. C. Cunningham and wife Sharon of Crump, TN, Maxie Cunningham of Michie, TN; two daughters, Jeanette Cunningham Thrasher and husband Tommy of Corinth, MS, Paulette McDonald and husband Freeman of Adamsville, TN; a stepdaughter, Sue Tallent of Loves Park, IL; a stepson, Robert Neal Cunningham of Rockford, IL.; 13 grandchildren, Cassie Cunningham King, Racheal Lynn Neal, Jessie Cunningham, Jessica Boils, Stephen Schlesser, Jason Schlesser, Brandon Cunningham, Blake Cunningham, Wendy Thrasher, Cody Thrasher, Haley Thrasher, Johnathon McDonald, James McDonald; 9 great grandchildren; 21 step grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Terry Schlesser and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Schlesser; a stepdaughter, Evelyn Manning, a stepson, James Cunningham; a daughter-in-law, Mary Cunningham; her siblings, Ray Hutcheson, Stanley Hutcheson, Charleston Hutcheson, R. B. Hutcheson, Ray Hutcheson, Gladys Gilliland, Christine Little, Virginia Watkins, Inez Thrasher, and two that died at birth.
