Mrs. Craft passed away Friday, May 18 at Jackson-Madison County
General Hospital.
The wife of William Harmon Craft, who survives, she was a retired
secretary with Middleton Elementary School. She was born April
21, 1923 in Rienzi, Mississippi, daughter of the late William and
Bessie Lowry Emerson and lived in New Albany for about 15 years
and in Middleton after that. She was a member of South Middleton
Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on July 7, 1953,
survivors include a son, Mark Craft of Middleton and a sister, Sandra
Mathews of Bartlett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by three sisters, Margaret Bishop and Anita Easley and Joyce
Durham and a brother, William Robert Emerson.
