Mrs. Ervin passed away early Wednesday morning at The Laurels of Hendersonville in North Carolina.
A native of Tippah County, MS, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Ether Cheatwood Rogers and lived most all of her life in Bolivar. She was a 1957 graduate of Southside High School in Jackson and retired as Human Resources Manager at Harvard Industries (also known as Harmon and Jervis) in Bolivar.
On Monday, June 12, 1965, she was united in marriage to Mr. Winfred Ellis Ervin. They were married over 48 years at the time of his death on March 9, 2014. Mrs. Ervin enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading in her leisure time.
She is survived by her son, Greg Helton (Donna Klepp) of Hendersonville, NC; her sister, Janell Rogers of Jackson, TN; grandson, Nathan Klepp and great-grandson, Colter Klepp, both of Horse Shoe, NC.
