Lavon Sullivan

Lavon Sullivan was born March 4, 1936 in Adamsville, TN the daughter of the late Z. C. and Artie Nixon Jones.Mrs. Sullivan owned Hair Shack in Selmer for several years, later she was the owner of Sullivans convenience store in the Purdy community. She loved her flowers and working in her yard. Mrs. Sullivan departed this life on April 1, 2012 in the Purdy Community of McNairy County, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 28 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Shelia Kidd and husband Pete of Selmer, TN; a son, Rickey Plunk and wife Danna of Adamsville, TN; three sisters, Neta Garrison of Crump, TN, Betty Stocks of Selmer, TN, Dorothy Pettigrew of Adamsville, TN; a brother, Sammy Jones of Shiloh, TN; three grandchildren, Dana Scroggins and husband Sam of Selmer, TN, Misty Melton of Michie, TN, Paula Sisk of Bolivar, TN; eight great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her first husband, Peatie Plunk; second husband, Dewey Sullivan; a sister, Nell Chambers; three brothers, Garland, Mike, and Jimmy Jones.
