L.C. Hudgins

L.C. Hudgins was born in Roxboro, North Carolina on June 10, 1962, the son of the late Marshall Hudgins and Elizabeth Hudgins.

L.C. was the store manager at Young Welding Supply for 38 years. He loved his work and he loved his customers. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and later Riverview Baptist Church. He was also a part of the Masons and the Shriners. He enjoyed his job more than anything. He loved his family so much and he was so "precious" to them all. He also enjoyed doing karaoke with his friends.

L.C. Hudgins departed this life on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama, at the age of 61 years, 8 months, and 7 days.

He is survived by his sons, Josh Hudgins and his wife Cassi and Korey Hudgins, all of Savannah, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Marcie Langston of Greenville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Gavyn Shearer, Jax Shearer, and Charlee Shearer; brother, M.V. Hudgins and his wife Janice of Chesapeake, Virginia; sisters, Ann Young and her husband Bobby of Killen, Alabama and Denice Yarbrough of Tuscumbia, Alabama; and his special friend, Kim Siner of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, L.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Hudgins; daughter, Christa Hudgins; and grandson, Maddox Shearer.

L.C.'s services will be officiated by Bro. Allen Guyer at Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. The visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM with the funeral following immediately after.

The Hudgins family requests memorial donations be made to Savannah Masonic Lodge 102.
