Mrs. Beavers passed away Monday, September 7, 2009, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
The widow of Lee Roy Beavers, who died on March 17, 1985, she was a homemaker. She was born February 6, 1921 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late James Pheland and Evie Lena Cox Crawford and lived in Hornsby and Memphis. Mrs. Beavers was Baptist in belief.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Lynn Beavers of Plano, Texas and James 'Randy' Beavers of Memphis; and two grandchildren.
