Lela Haggard Griffinwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 30, 1917 the daughter of the late Otis Orval and Zelma Garrard Haggard.On December 17, 1933, she was united in marriage to Landous M. Griffin, who preceded is wife in death August 16, 2000.Lela, was a homemaker and enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, cross stitching, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Lela departed this life and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2013. She made profession of faith early in life and was a member of the Foursquare Church.She is survived by one daughter, Maxine Love of Savannah, Tennessee; one brother, Byrl Haggard of Savannah, TN; four grandchildren, Anette (Love) Shelby and husband Michael of Savannah, Tennessee, Jeffrey Love and wife Mary of Adamsville, Tennessee, Gary and Larry Walker; great grandchildren, Brittany Shelby, Emily (Shelby) Bobo, Hannah, Madison and Sarah Beth Love, Amanda Walker, Shane and Robert Walker.In addition to her husband and parents, Lela was proceeded in death by a daughter, Frankie Walker; infant son; son-in-law, Royce Love; four brothers, Otis, Herbert, Robert and Earl Haggard; one sister, Laura Hazel Davis, and one half brother, Barney Haggard.
