Leland Wesley "Hopper" Springer was born on July 16, 1956, in Selmer, Tennessee. He peacefully passed away on July 19, 2025, in Adamsville, Tennessee. Leland was known for being a man with a lot of knowledge, and he touched the lives of those around him.
Throughout his life, Leland had various interests that brought him joy. He spent many happy hours coon hunting, breaking horses and riding horses. These hobbies were a significant part of who he was and reflected his love for the outdoors and animals.
In his professional life, Leland worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many year. Later in life, Leland owned a detailing shop in Pickwick, Tennessee. Additionally, he was known for making coon hunting lights.
Leland is survived by his daughter, Jenny Springer of Adamsville, Tennessee; two sisters, Linda Baxter and Carol McClain both of Adamsville, TN; two grandchildren, Kara Roland of Adamsville, TN and Kyle Roland and wife Chantae of Smyrna, TN; three great-grandchildren: Kyngston Harris, Kynslynn Harris, and Andrew Roland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Springer and Joyce Bolton Springer; sister, Dianne Tuberville; brother, Lonnie Springer; two brothers-in-law, Larry Baxter and Harshel McClain.
Leland Wesley "Hopper" Springer will be remembered for his warmth, knowledge, and the love he had for his family and friends. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
