Lena Verneal Griswell

Verneal Wardlow Griswell was born June 22, 1929 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Boss and Mittie Russom Wardlow.She was united in marriage to Max Ray Griswell.She was a retired housekeeper at McNairy County General Hospital. She was of the Pentecostal belief.Mrs. Griswell departed this life on February 11, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 7 Months, 20 Days. She is survived by her husband,Max Ray Griswell, one son, Perry Price of Selmer, Tennessee; 2 step-sons Robert Griswell and Burley Dean Griswell both of Selmer, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Jeanette Taylor , Selmer, Tennessee; 5 step grandchildren and 7 step great-gandchildren.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griswell is preceded in death by a step-son, Richard Griswell, two sisters, Loraine Gray and Kathleen Harville, two brothers, W. D. Wardlow and W. G. Wardlow.
