Ms. Rapp died Saturday night at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.
A native of Memphis, she lived most of her life there before moving to Pocahontas 16 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Henry Collins Hopper and Helen Marie Gibson Hopper, who survives. She was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, camping and working jig-saw puzzles. She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she leaves as her survivors: two sons, James Rapp, Jr. of Pocahontas and Henry Franklin "Skeeter" Rapp of Brighton, TN; a sister, Rebecca Henrietta Chelette of McNairy County; two brothers, Henry Hopper, Jr. of Middleton and James Wallace Hopper of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
