Services for Leon Ray, age 69, of Lawrenceburg, TN will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Willie Charles Lopp officiating. Burial will follow in the Fishtrap Cemetery in Lawrence County with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 4:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM until service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro.Mr. Ray was born September 21, 1942 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Lee Roy and Earlene Pulley Ray. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ray was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Mae Ray. Mr. Ray departed this life Sunday, April 15, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville at the age of 69 Years, 6 Months, 25 Days. He was a retired logger.He is survived by his companion Sally Lynn of Lawrenceburg, TNtwo daughters, Melissa Ray of Columbia, TN and Allison Ray of Lawrenceburg, TN; a son, Gregory Ray of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchild, Shawna McCullum; and a sister, Agusta Wallace ofLawrenceburg.
