Leonard G. Hunt

Mr. Hunt passed away Friday evening, February 5, 2016 at Hardin Medical Center Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee. He was born November 17, 1920 in Lauderdale County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Harrison Hunt and Hattie Robertson Hunt, and brother, Sovell (Bill) Hunt, of Savannah, Tennessee. He is survived by sons, Jerry D. Hunt and Danny G. Hunt of Savannah, Tennessee, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Jo Eidson of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mr. Hunt grew up in Savannah, Tennessee, was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII. He worked in the highway construction industry and was a business owner in Mesa, Arizona. He returned to live in Hardin County in 2000.

At the specific request of Mr. Hunt, there will be no public formal funeral services planned.
