LEONARD R. LOTT
Vero Beach, FL: Leonard R. Lott age 81 passed away May 3, 2016 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born April 16, 1935 in Chester County and grew up in Memphis, TN the son of the late Leonard Tillman and Mary Edna Lorraine Watlington Lott. He graduated from Southside High School in Memphis. He did factory work in Memphis. He was married to Laverne Morris in 1954. He served from 1957 until 1959 in the U.S. Army, stationed in Karlsruhe, Germany. They moved to Vero Beach in 1977 and he worked as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier for thirty years, retiring in 1998.
Mr. Lott is survived by his wife of sixty one years, Laverne Morris Lott of Vero Beach; two sons, Robin Lott and wife Sandra of Port Saint Lucie, FL and Larry Payne and wife Jeanne of Okeechobee, FL; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a sister, Sue Barocio and husband Joe of Lewisburg, TN.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Clarks Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 10:00 AM until service time 11:00 AM Thursday.
