Leonard A. Paulk was born on August 31, 1932 in Waterloo, Alabama to the late Charlie E. Paulk and Mary Pearl Hubbard. He left this life peacefully on January 31, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee.
On January 26, 1952, he was married to the "love of his life" Bettye Sue Clement Paulk. Bettye passed away on July 4, 2015.
Mr. Paulk honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1950 - 1953. He formerly lived in Detroit, Michigan, Moline, Illinois, and Jackson, Tennessee where he was employed by National Life Insurance Company, before moving back home to his hometown of Savannah, Tennessee. He then worked for Sears Co. for many years. After Sears, he worked for Austin Fence Co. and Savannah Fence Company.
When Mr. Paulk was still able to be up and about, he enjoyed being with his buddies and having morning coffee at local restaurants. He also loved to meet with friends on Thursday nights for "Breakfast Night". He enjoyed playing different card games, dominoes, and liked to fish and hunt.
In addition to his wife and parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his brothers, Elvin Paulk, Newton "Buddy" Paulk, Marvin Paulk, Raymond Paulk, and Lloyd Paulk.
Mr. Paulk had no children of his own, but he was a much beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
