Leonard Joe Pierce, 77, of Como, Ms., formally of La Grange, Tn., went home to be with his Lord on June 26, 2011 after a 3 year battle with cancer.
He was a retired supervisor from Linkous Construction Co. He was born to Newsom and Clara Pierce on Aug. 27, 1933 who preceded him in death as well as a son, Michael Leonard Pierce, a sister, Mary Evelyn Jackson, a brother, Johnny Ward Pierce.
He is survived by Ora Lee Pierce, and 2 sons, Terry Douglas Pierce and Kevin Ray Pierce, all of Como, Ms.; three grandchildren, Jennifer Novarese (John) of McRae, AK., Latisha Medford (David) of Eads, Tn., and T.J. Pierce (Kyre) of Como, Ms., 6 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Bettie Wynn (Lester) of Grand Junction, Tn., Marie Joyner (Harold) of Collierville, Tn., Annette Montesi of La Grange, Tn., 3 brothers, Richard Pierce (Alma) of La Grange, Tn., Harold Pierce (Mareette) of Bartlett, Tn., and Larry Pierce (Cissye) of Saulsbury, Tn.
