LeRoy Bernard Kellen

LEROY BERNARD KELLEN, SR.was born July 2, 1936 in Slayton, Minnesota, son of the late John Henry Kellen, Jr. and Mary Minerva Nece Kellen.On September 11, 1961 he married the former Shelby Jean Anderson.Mr. Kellen was retired from the US Army and Army Reserve. He had also worked for the Counce-Corinth Railroad for 15 years.He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Savannah. He was a Charter Member of Knights of Columbus - Fourth Degree Knight.Mr. Kellen departed from this life December 14, 2009, at the age of 73 years, 5 months, and 12 days.He leaves his wife, Shelby J. Kellen of Shiloh, Tennessee.1 daughter, Patricia Lynn Cruz of Shiloh, Tennessee.2 sons, LeRoy B. Kellen, Jr. of Shiloh, Tennessee and Jefffery Louis Kellen, Lexington, Tennessee.9 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren,and 5 Great Great grandchildren.1 sister, Mary Ann Burg, St. Cloud, Minnesota.2 sister in laws, Phillis Kellen, Brookings, South Dakota and Merideth Kellen, Woodstock, Minnesota.Mr. Kellen was preceded in death by one grandchild, Michele Kelley and 2 brothers, Albert Frances (Red) Kellen and Bernard John Kellen.
