Leroy Oakley

Leroy Oakley, Jr.was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 3, 1962 the son of Leroy and Johnnie Pearl Prim Oakley.Mr. Oakley was employed as an Airport Runway Striper for Traffic Associated Systems. He had previously worked for Jay Barker Landscaping, Savannah Furniture Exchange, and had been a member of the National Guard. He loved fishing, hunting, family and friends. Mr. Oakley departed this life on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the age of 48 years, 11 months, 22 days.In addition to his parents, he is survived by 3 sisters, Rita Nichols, Cecilia Thompson and Ramona Oakley all of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 brothers, Lee Oakley, Johnny Oakley and his wife Vicke, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Thomas Oakley of Iowa City, Iowa; fiancee, Kay Grimes, Counce, Tennessee. Mr. Oakley was also survived by 2 uncles, Leonard Shannon, Jr. and his wife Demetria and Billy Williams and his wife Edith.
