Lesby Lee Tucker Wood

LESBY LEE TUCKER WOOD

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 28, 1932 the daughter of the late James and Ada Sanders Tucker.

Ms. Wood worked in the finishing department for Wurlitzer in Corinth, Mississippi for 15 years. She was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church. Ms. Wood loved her animals (quail, chickens, milk cows, pigs and cats) and she loved cooking, which she was very good at doing.

Ms. Wood departed this life on October 25, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 27 days.

She is survived by her children, Geney A. Wood and Anthony L. Wood, both of Counce, Tennessee, Becky Wood Mitchell and her husband Steve of Lakeland, Tennessee and James Timothy Wood and his wife Linda of Corinth, Mississippi.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Johnny M. Wood, one infant son and one sister, Dorothy Tucker Freeman.
