Leslie Eugene Easterday

Leslie Eugene Easterday was born August 29, 1929 in Marshtown, Indiana the son of the late Edward and Hulda Cambell Easterday.He was united in marriage to Frances Dix on September 18, 1953.Mr. Easterday was a retired aviation technician, having served in the US Navy for 9 years and the US Air Force for 20 years. He participated in the Meals on Wheels program with the Selmer Senior Center. He loved to gardening, quilting, reading, working puzzles, and being with friends and family. Mr. Easterday departed this life on July 17, 2007 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 10 Months, 18 Days.He is surived by his wife of 53 years, Frances Dix Easterday of Selmer; two children, Susan McClellan and husband Chris of Hanover, Pennsylvania and Steve Easterday and wife Sue Ellen of Columbia, Tennessee; a sister, Mildred Ingle of Kewanna, Indiana; a brother, Everett Easterday of Kokomo, Indiana; nine Grandchildren, Kevin, Brian, Jason, Matthew and Megan Easterday, Brittany Drew and husband Larry, Rayne, Melinda and J.J. Stacey; three Great Grandchildren,Logan, Delainey and Rayne Stacey. In addition to his parents, Mr. Easterday was preceded in death by a sister Arlene McVay and a brother, William Easterday.
