Levada Howie

Henderson, TN: Levada Cash Howie age 78 passed away June 1, 2011 at the Chester County Healthcare.



She was born in Chester County, Enville, TN the daughter of the late John Enloe and Minnie Estlee Lindsey Cash. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1952. She married Dennie Joe Howie in 1957 and they made their home in Memphis where Mr. Howie worked for International Harvester and Mrs. Howie worked for the USDA Cotton Division. They moved to Henderson in 1992. After moving to Henderson she was the bookkeeper at the Henderson Plaza and also worked at the Chester County Senior Citizens. She was a former member of the Chester County Lions Club. She was a Methodist.



Mrs. Howie is survived by a sister-in-law, Louise Phillips Cash of Henderson; four nieces and nephews, Larry Stovall (Sharon) of Henderson, Betty Keith (Bill) of Bartlett, Ann Marie Billings and Joe Cash both of Hendersonville; four great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Howie in 1993; three brothers, Howard Cash, Thurman Cash and James Cash and one sister, Ramelle Stovall.
