Lewis was self-employed in the timber industry as a logger. He loved to hunt and fish, and attended Turkey Creek Union Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Anna Pickens of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Denise Doyle, Danny Doyle, and Johnathan Flanagan; and sisters, Laura Frances Crotts and her husband Ricky and Lisa Davis and her husband Bo, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
