Lila Sue Ross

Graveside services for Lila Sue Ross, 91 of Bolivar, are at Noon Sunday, Nov. 30 at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Silerton. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 pm Saturday, Nov. 29 at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar.She was born Jul. 26, 1917 in Silerton to the late John Bunyan and Mattie Deming Ross. She was a legal secretary for E. J. Harris for 24 years and for the Hardeman County Registrar's Office for 10 years. She was a member of the Silerton Methodist Church.She is survived by four nieces and nephews, Conan Hall of Henderson, Joe B. Gilliand of Jackson, Nina Beach of Kentucky and Rosemary Jones of Toone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Zelle Hall, Neola Gilliand, Norene Crowley and Inez Mayfield; and one brother, Deming Ross.Please send memorials to the Silerton Methodist Church.
