April 30, 1958 — April 30, 2026

Linda Gray was born on April 30, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Eugene Butts and Marilyn Rayson.

Linda worked for Hardin Medical Center in the Medical Records Department and Country Home Health in Savannah, Tennessee. She attended Church on the Rock, Souls Harvest Church of God, and Love & Truth of Savannah.

Through her own experiences, she was able to offer understanding, support, and encouragement to women facing difficult seasons in life. Her faith remained central to who she was, and she was often known for her prayers, love of worship music, and willingness to encourage those around her. She departed this life on April 30, 2026, in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 68 years, on her birthday.

She is survived by her daughters, Monique Scholes Bruce (Jason) of Louisa, Virginia; Misty Alexander Hendricks (Andy) of Leander, Texas; and Genna Alexander McMillin (Andrew) of Portland, Texas; stepdaughter, Jenny Davis of Savannah, Tennessee; bonus daughter, Cyndi Love Garland (Jeff) of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Cheri Lawson (Rick), Vicki McKay, Barbara Mitchell, Teri Whitlatch (Tony), Brenda Montano (Pat), and Joni Butts; brother, Larry Smith; and grandchildren, Alexander Hendricks, Annistyn Hendricks, Bubba Davis, Abby Davis, and Baylee Davis Clayton (Trey).
