Henderson: Linda Dale Combs Maurer, age 56, Executive Director of The Neighborhood Network in Henderson died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter in Dickson.
Mrs. Maurer was born in Miami, FL and grew up in Chicago and Miami. She is the daughter of Audrey Martin Combs of Henderson and the late Lawrence Combs. She graduated from Miami Dade High School and Bethel College in McKenzie.
She had been a librarian at Chester County Library and had worked for the Soybean Council. She also had worked for the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center in Jackson and Charter Lakeside Counseling in Jackson prior to serving as Executive Director of Neighborhood Network in Henderson.
In additional to her mother she is also survived by a son Christopher Centore and wife Melissa of Nashville, a daughter Erica Voce and husband Russell of Dickson and a grandchild Grayson Stone Centore. She was eagerly awaiting the birth of her second grandchild in the spring of 2011. She is also survived by two sisters; Wanda Black and husband David of Henderson and Brenda Jones and husband Jimmie of Lawrenceville, GA.
