Linda Jane Plunk

Linda Jane Ervin Plunk of Lawrenceburg, TN was born January 20, 1943 in McNairy Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late E. F. and Myrtle Lambert Ervin.
Mrs. Plunk was a housekeeper at Scott Healthcare and had previously worked at Trace Manufacturing. She was a member of the Revival Center Pentecostal Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee. She moved from McNairy County, TN to Wayne County, TN in 1975 then to Lawrence County, TN in 1988 and lived there until her death.
Mrs. Plunk was pronounced dead-on-arrival on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 11 Months, 4 Days from injuries sustained in a house fire.
She is survived by daughters, Rachel Ruddle of Columbia, TN, Rebekah Beaulac of Waynesboro, TN, Lisa Lane of Middleton, TN, Tina Dixon of Waynesboro, TN; son, Jeremiah Plunk of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, David Sanderson, Michael Harris, Courtney Plunk, Elisabeth Harris, Savannah Plunk, Isaac Lane, Kassidy Gresham, Kaleb Ruddle, Isaiah Gresham; brother, Duran Ervin of Corinth, MS.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Plunk was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Neal Ervin; grandparent, Matthew Elvin Browder; a grandchild, Ashley Sanderson.
Services will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Cornerstone Church, Collinwood, TN with Jimmy Pearcy and Brandon Skelton officiating. Interment following in Gallaher Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Phillip Beaulac, David Sanderson, Paul Hogan, Jason Gresham, Michael Harris, Harlon Lane, Thomas Dixon, and Johnny Kilburn. Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 10 am until service time at the church.
