Linda Ann Rumbaugh

Linda Brewer Rumbaugh was born March 15, 1945 in Collinwood, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Allen Earnest and Gertie Mae Overton Brewer. Ms Rumbaugh was a CNA for 25 years at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, TN. She was a member of the Church of God.



Ms Rumbaugh departed this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 4 Months, 27 Days.



She is survived by a son, James David Rumbaugh of Collinwood, TN; three daughters, Beverly Ann Rumbaugh Brewer of Lawrenceburg, TN, Terrie Lynn Rumbaugh Rich and Tammy Denise Rumbaugh both of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Wayne, Kelly, and Misty Brewer, Kayla, Tara, and Trenton Rumbaugh, Heather, Jessica, and Kesha Daniel, and Toshia; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Savannah Brewer, Aubrey Tatum, Shianna Thompson, Alley Copeland, Adian Dunnivant, and Nevaeh; five brothers, William Harold (Pee Wee) Brewer, Billy Fay Brewer, and Stanley Jo Brewer all of Collinwood, TN, Robert Earnest Brewer of Lawrenceburg, TN, Lawrence Edward Brewer of Leoma, TN; three sisters, Audrey Ellen Brewer Heard and Carolyn Mae Staggs both of Collinwood, TN, Hazel Marie Rumbaugh of Iron City, TN; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, Ms Rumbaugh was preceded in death by two brothers, Savage Rufus Brewer, George Prince Brewer; a sister, Chapel Elizabeth Brewer.



Services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Church of God of Prophecy in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Connie Pulley and Josh Stults officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery at Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation begins at 7 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Church of God of Prophecy, Collinwood, TN. Pallbearers will be James David Rumbaugh, Stanley Brewer, Lawrence Brewer, Bill Brewer, Robert Brewer, William Harold Brewer and honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Rich, Randy Everson, Jeff Daniel, Chris Pigg, Mark Pitts.
