Lindsay Elizabeth Aylen, age 63 of Selmer, departed this life Friday evening, April 15, 2016 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The daughter of Reginald James Aylen and Dorothy Rose Etherington Aylen, she was born November 20, 1952 in London England. She was retired as a clerk with Western Mental Health Institute, having worked there 33 years, and starting out as a candy-striper in her teenage years. She lived in Hardeman County since 1961 and in Selmer for the past 8 years. A huge NASCAR fan, she enjoyed watching the races and supporting Kevin Harvick. She loved to do crafts and was also a big University of Tennessee enthusiast, watching as many of the games as she could. Miss Aylen was a Baptist in faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Maureen (Kurt) Sadler of Bolivar and Susan (Ralph) Sparks of Hernando, Mississippi; two nephews, Patrick Baker of Bolivar and Scott (Leslie) Baker of Beech Bluff; three great nieces, Julia, Megan and Maddie; and one great nephew, Ty.
