Lisa Marie Hurst

Lisa Marie Hurst, age 55, of Horn Lake, Mississippi, passed away on September 18, 2026. She was born on November 30, 1970, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Linda Gail Ray Hurst and the late Paul David Hurst.

In her younger years, Lisa was an avid tennis player who loved staying active on the court. Though health issues later led to her disability and kept her from working, Lisa found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for her two cherished cats, Jack Black and Earl Grey, and spent much of her time online shopping for them and watching endless cat videos on YouTube. Lisa also had a wonderful passion for fashion and loved adding to her shoe collection.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Paul David Hurst; her paternal grandparents, Paul and Caroline Hurst; her maternal grandparents, Arlie and Zona Ray; her aunt, Alice Liker; and her uncles, Charlie Ray, Bill Ray, O'Neal Ray, and Joe Ray.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Gail Hurst; her brother, David Hurst; and her cousins, Richard Ray, Ricky Liker, Freda Weatherly, Austin Ray, Rocky McCullar, Jessie Ray, and Jerry Ray, along with extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
