Lizzie Smith

Lizzie Smith was born March 14, 1922 in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William and Celia Isley Deshazier.



She was united in marriage to J C Smith on March 18, 1942. Mr. Smith preceded her in death on June 6, 2006.



Mrs. Smith was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She loved birds, cooking, and taking care of her family. She enjoyed life and going to church.



Mrs. Smith departed this life on July 2, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 3 Months, 18 Days.



She is survived by a son, James Carl Smith of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 daughters, Patsy Ray Beam, Barbara Ann Hurt, and Tammy Lynn Neill all of Savannah, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren, Keith Beam, Tina Adams, Roger Beam, Kristie Robinson, Joe Hurt, Charlie Hurt, Jamie Smith, Jeremy Petty, and Samantha Neill; 12 great grandchildren, Chris Adams, Scotty Adams, Trista Adams, Clay Adams, Jonathan Robinson, David Robinson, Terri Beam, Cody Beam, Callie Hurt, Levi Hurt, Ariel Robinson, and Kylie Beam; 4 Great Great Grandchildren; a brother, R H Deshazier of Savannah, Tennessee.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a son, William Charles Smith; 2 grandchildren, Lisa Ann Hurt Deshazier and Jason Carl Smith; 3 sisters, Rose Hollins, Stella Hurt, and Lena Hutton; 3 brothers, Vernon Deshazier, Bill Deshazier, and Irvin Deshazier.
