Lloyd Carl Bell was born March 24, 1922 the son of the late William Ervin and Della Richards Bell.
He was united in marriage to Eunice Williams on May 10, 1941. Mr. Bell was a minister for 61 years with the Church of God of Prophecy. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He worked as a right-of-way specialist for several pipeline companies, worked for Brown Shoe Company for 14 years and General Electric Company for 3 years. He also had sold insurance. One of Mr. Bell's hobbies was putting together jig-saw puzzles.
Mr. Bell departed this life on November 19, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 7 Months, 26 Days.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years Eunice (Williams) Bell of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Peggy Burney and husband Billy of Selmer, TN, Carolyn Brown of Selmer, TN; a son, Fred Bell and wife Debra of Dalton, GA; two sisters, Ilene Younger of Adamsville, TN, Maxine Alexander of Rolla, MO; a brother, Arthur Bell of Stantonville, TN; eight grandchildren, Angela Govan, Vickie Meek, George Brown, Jr., Wesley Burney, Sallye Williams, Rachel Burney, Zach Bell, David Bell; two step-grandchildren, Eric Davis, Shannon Wood; six great grandchildren, Michael Meek, Matthew Govan, Dylan Burney, Benjamin Franklin Govan, Chandler Bell, Gage Bell; two step great grandchildren, Brady Wood, Bridgett Wood. A host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bell was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Bell; two sisters, Irene Phillips, Essie Frances Gray; three brothers, Gene Bell, Troy Bell, Lawrence Bell; a son-in-law, George Calvin (Pete) Brown, Sr.
