Lloyd F Richardson was born March 21, 1929 in Chester County Tennessee the son of the late Adam Eseau Richardson and Ollie Dora Morris. He attended school in Chester Co.and was married to Betty Jo Dodd on July 2, 1955, she preceded him in death. Mr. Richardson served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War until 1961. After service he worked in factories and farmed. He later operated Lloyd's Package Store and L&L Bar-B-Que until his retirement. He was a member of the Henderson Masonic Lodge and the Jacks Creek Community Club. He was the last great historian at Jacks Creek. He knew birthdates, old tales, history and facts about the community.
Mr. Richardson departed this life on June 25, 2010 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 3 Months, 4 Days.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori Pusser and husband Tracey of Enville, TN, and daughter-in-law Jana Morrison; four grandchildren, Malorie Pusser , Katie Roberts and husband Mark, Gabrielle Maness, Shelley Pusser and two great grandchildren, Xander Roberts and Alison Roberts. He is also survived by his two dogs, Puggy and Piper, who were his close companions.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Freeman Richardson; and four brothers, Joseph Richardson, Paul Richardson, Marvin Richardson, Lyman Richardson.
Services will be held on June 28, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Donald Jones and Dwight Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Crossroads Cemetery at Jacks Creek , Tennessee.
