LODIE BEECHAM
Henderson: Lodie Cherry Beecham age 85 passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Chester County Healthcare in Henderson.
She was born and reared in the Cabo Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Hugh Frank and Almedia Young Cherry. She attended schools in Chester County and married Eugene Beecham in 1942 and they made their home most of their married life in the Montezuma Community where Mr. Beecham farmed and did mechanic work. Mrs. Beecham worked in the restaurant at Chickasaw State Park and also in the park cabins. She attended Gospel Tabernacle Church in Henderson.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Beecham, two sons Randy Beecham and wife Carolyn and Roy Beecham and wife Joyce all of Henderson and a daughter Carolyn Higgins and husband Kerry of Pulsaki, TN, two sisters Clara Mae Holley of Enville and Jane Bores of Tidesville, FL. She has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Guy Cherry and Curtis Cherry and two sisters; Marie Covake and Carnell Austin.
