Lois Marie Daniel Brewer, age 94, of Iron City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026. She was born on July 7, 1932 in Iron City, TN, the daughter of the late Jim Taylor and Martha Bell Thompson Daniel.

On March 5, 1955, Lois was united in marriage to the love of her life, Fay Edwin Brewer and he preceded her in death on November 6, 2006. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and countless cherished memories.

Lois was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in caring for her home and the people she loved most. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life.

There was a special beauty in the simple things Lois enjoyed. She loved quilting, creating beautiful pieces with her own hands that became treasured reminders of her love and patience. She found happiness in tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, watching things grow and flourish. She was also known for her cooking and the love she poured into every meal she prepared for her family.

Above all, Lois treasured her family. The time she spent surrounded by those she loved was among her greatest joys. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and the warmth she brought into the lives of others will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Hunt (Randy), Hank Brewer (Martha), Anita Stults (Tracy), and Stephanie Walker (John); 4 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lura Daniel, Lorene Moore, Lester Daniel, Leslie Daniel, Dean Robertson, Earline Gambrell, J.R. Daniel, Robert Daniel, Edward Daniel, and Barbara Moore.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, TN.
