Lois Holley George was born on July 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Eddie and Mabel Smith George. She was united in marriage to Clifford A. Holley, who preceded her in death. Later, on August 26, 1986, Lois married Fonnie George, who also preceded her in death. She departed this life on November 7, 2017, at the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 1 day.
Lois worked as a beautician for 30 years. She was of the Church of Christ belief. Lois enjoyed bowling, watching old western movies, and showing horses.
Lois is survived by her son, Clifford Gary Holley and wife Kim of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Christy Brewer, Michael Gleaves, Amanda Holley Linville and her husband Josh, and Clifford W. Holley; great grandchildren, Meagan Campbell and her husband Nick, Blake Landreth, Cheyenna Linville, Jersey Linville, Clifford D. Holley, and Martha Holley; and a great-great grandchild, Lily Campbell.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her daughter, Charolette Gail Gleaves; brothers, Austin George and Kenneth Lee George; and sisters, Mabel Louise Nixon and Gloria Jean Park.
