Lois Black Kennedy, 79, of Bolivar, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The wife of J.W. Kennedy, who survives, she was a homemaker. She was born May 18, 1930 to the late Homer Black and Fannie Robinson Black. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and previously lived in Savannah.
In addition to her husband, who she married October 8, 1947, survivors include two sons, Jim Kennedy of Lexington, Billy Kennedy of Bolivar; a niece, Kay Pettigrew Henson of Bolivar; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
