Lona Bell Helms was born February 1, 1931 in Chester County , Tn the daughter of the late Willie Thomas and Flora Alphine Moody Helms. She attended school at Pine Springs School House in Chester County. She was employed by Salant & Salant Shirt Factory and Decaturville Sportswear. She attended the BB&L Church in Reagan.
Miss. Helms departed this life on January 13, 2018 in Reagan, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 11 Months, 12 Days.
She is survived by three sisters, Willie Faye Helms of Reagan, TN, Lucille Millner of Sardis, Tn, Beatrice Stone of Jacks Creek , Tn; a brother, Thomas Helms of Scotts Hill, Tn.
