was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 2, 1948 the son of the late Watt and Marie Melson Miller.
Mr. Miller was self employed and worked trimming trees. He was a member of Church on the Rock Fellowship here in Savannah. He enjoyed gardening, deer and squirrel hunting. He was a peoples person and never met a stranger. Mr. Miller lived in Hardin County most of his life.
Mr. Miller departed this live on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the age of 64 years and 4 months.
He is survived by 1 son, Travis Junior Miller Petty of Counce, Tennessee; 3 sisters, Joan Ayers of Savannah, Tennessee; Rosie Gray of Adamsville, Tennessee; Diane Bays of Charleston, South Carolina; 1 brother, Arthur Miller of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Blake and Corey Petty;
a special nephew, J.R. Miller of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jerry Miller, Earl Miller and Alton Miller; 1 infant sister.
